MOM OF THE YEAR AWARD?????

I am feeling very flattered. I received a comment from a fellow blogger that led me to her blog spot. (very fun site to read by the way! : ) ) I have enjoyed reading her thoughts... What a cool thing; this blogging. She's a mom in Canada. How else would I connect with her but by common interests via blogger??? I digress. She very kindly nominated me for a mom of the year award. I must be doing well at leting you all know what is most important to me on my blogspot because BINGO! being a mom is it. ( and wife ; ) ) SO..... here are the rules of the game:

Rules for Mom of the Year Award:Admit one thing you feel awful about involving being a mom. Get it off your shoulders. Once you've written it down, you are No Longer allowed to feel bad. It's over with, it's in the past. Remember, you're a good mom!

I sometimes have NO patience for my teenagers when they don't do what I've asked them to RIGHT when I ask them too. I get frustrated asking them to do simple things and having to repeat myself over and over and over and over and over and over and over.... well you get the point! Then I YELL!!!!

Remind yourself you are a good mom, list seven things you love about your kids, you love doing with your kids, or that your kids love about you.These are the things to remind yourself everyday that you Rock!

1. I LOVE that my boys choose to spend their time here at home and they bring their friends here.

2. I LOVE when all these friends of my boys call my mom!

3. I LOVE watching my boys' friendship. They are the best of friends and it makes me feel so proud!

4. I LOVE sleepover night with my daughter : )

5. I LOVE family night when we all play SingStar on Playstation and sing badly together but laugh and smile together!

6. My kids LOVE when I make them homemade pancakes and bacon on Sunday mornings!

7. I LOVE being a mom and am so proud of my 3 children!!!

Send this to five other Mom's of the year that deserve credit for being great moms and remind them that they are the best moms they can be!! Remember to send them a note to let them know you've selected them, and add a link to the person who nominated you.
